Super middleweights Rocky Fielding and Erik Skoglund will fight Dec. 17 at the O2 Arena in London in one of the undercard bouts of the rematch between heavyweights Tony Bellew and David Haye, Matchroom Boxing promoter Eddie Hearn announced on Wednesday. British and Commonwealth champion Fielding (25-1, 14 KOs), 30, of England, is looking for his fifth win in a row since a stunning first-round knockout loss to Callum Smith in 2015. Skoglund (26-1, 12 KOs), 26, of Sweden, is coming off a unanimous decision loss to Smith on Sept. 16 in the quarterfinals of the World Boxing Super Series. “Skoglund has just come out of the Super Series and they are all classed as world class fighters, so I am up against a world class operator and whoever wins can go onto a world title next,” Fielding said. Skoglund lost to Smith in England is happy to be returning against Fielding. “Fielding is a good opponent who can really punch,” Skoglund said. “I will need to stay sharp and focused all the time, but as long as I can do that, I can’t see him beating me. Everyone has a puncher’s chance, and that’s the only chance I give Fielding.”
i dont kno much about either but im interested in this fight. i would fielding to win. and new guy emerging i would like to see.
fielding got ko bby smithin 1 round.. skoglund went 12 rounds and was competitive minus the knockdown.. but fielding may of just been caught cold vs smith.
ok then see i dont kno much about these guys .. should be close fight. basing of the smith fight skoglund should win .. should be decent fight.
