Skull size in relation to absorbing a shot

you are born able to take a punch, skull size has nothing to do with it IMO.

although i would like to see some research on brain casing and how some fighters completely get ****ed and lose there equilibrium from a temple shot and others go unnafected.

valuev has a huge head and has a great chin.

tye fields has an enourmous head and a chin easily dented.

 

I doubt it as white people have bigger heads than black people and there are LOADS of black fighters with great jaws.

 

To be honest i don't think valuev has ever had his chin tested. He hasn't been caught with a shot like barrett caught fields with. I t would be interesting to see him take a shot from either klitschko to the chin or temple.

It's not the only factor that needs to be taken into account, but it's obviously significant.

 

Well Chavez is known to have a cranium with twice the padding than the average cranium. Chavez had a legendary chin but I'm sure there are many counter examples.

i could be bone density
it could be how tightly the brain is packed.

i have seen brain scans showing how punches damge cells in the brain but nothing on how well the head can stand up or not stand up to punishment.

as we have electrical impulses to the brain and when somefighters are knocked out they lose all contol , it could be something to do with how we might be all wired up just slightly differently.

 

i have seen many valuev fights live.
he gets caught flush in virtually every fight.

john ruiz wound up some right hands from way back and valuev walked onto them taking them flush with full power and valuev walked through them.

IMO valuev would walk straight through the shot that felled fields.

 

Carlos Baldomir seems to prove this... That dude's head is so big it has a rep to the UN.
