Does this suprise you? If you don't fight on Sky, you're **** in their eyes. They'll always been like it- the Sky clique. It really wound me up at the time as well especially coming from that main anchor idiot; I can't stand that ****.
Maybe Haye has some Scottish blood. He was on sky sports news today talking, I think he's planning a move to sky.
When McCrory went off on Haye i expected at least one of them to argue but true to form they all agreed atsch I find it hard to believe the amount of times i have watched any of there shows without any of them debating or straight out arguing with each other. Every statement gets the nod of approvable by who ever is in the studio. When the guy from the Sun came in (think his name is Hart) they all combined and had the exact same thing to come back at him with. I'm beginning to think its scripted
When Colin Hart was in the studio that night for the Hatton-Pac fight it was the only time we got a bit of critical honest commentary, he singlehandedly, did Nelson especially like a kipper. I think the Sky 'commentators' are told to just say nice things about the bill (no matter how **** - find a positive) and to hype their prospects. They need an Eamon Dunphy-type to sit in between them in order to stir things up.
the worst was the week leading up to hatton pac where many times i heard from the likes of watt, darke etc that hatton skills and speed are close and if not better to pacs, the looks on their faces when hart said after how hatton has been shot and all was priceless
The thing that did my tits in was Jim Watt.. Maybe some fans enjoyed wlad "pure boxing experience" but Watt was licking Wlads baws no end....I think he creamed himself on more than one occasion and Darke had to take over!
But what about the 'magic' trainer Sky told me about that was turning Hatton into Duran? Is this all lies? How dare Sky do this to me!
Haye has never fought a top ten heavyweight. I suspect that "if" he fights Vitali, he will not have a fight for some time period. Vitali by very vicious knockout. Ratings for the RTL telecast in Germany were through the roof. More than 11 million viewers tuned into the live telecast, generating a 58.4% market share. 61,000 spectators attended the fight in person at the Veltins Arena in Gelsenkirchen, Germany.
Colin Hart came across as a right ****. Changes his opinion constantly to suit what was going on to appear as he if he could do no wrong. I was really hoping Nelson would lean over and smack his face in and knock his Lego-Man hair off of his head
It is, they have to be biased towards their fighter. In the case of Khan, Hatton they would have to do their best to say good things.
What I saw was Glen McClory being very realistic about a man who has had 3 fights at Heavyweight (People forget that the Gary Delaney fight was at Heavyweight because he came unbelievably over the weight limit) and hasn't faced any top 10 HWs. Chagev was ranked number 3 in the World by Ring and seeing as Klitchsko vs Klitchsko isn't going it was the hardest fight out there for Wladimir. Would Haye do better? I think he might ask more questions of WK but that punch which put Chagev down would KO Haye imo.
Good crowd, but I have seen more life in a tramps vest. The 61,000 had bought tickets to see Wlad - Haye, not Wlad - Shuffleoff As for McCrory...he is either pished or punchy, take your pick.
