"But according to the British Audience Research Board, only 223,000 viewers paid to watch Haye beat Audley Harrison inside three rounds in November 2010. Meanwhile, Haye's clash with Valuev in November 2009 had about 469,000 subscribers." http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-13943609
To be fair, that BBC figure for Haye-Harrison doesn't seem to correlate very well with the idea (in the same article) that Haye got paid £4.2m for the Harrison fight...
yeh based in Haye getting 50% which was the rumoured deal he would have got £1,675,000 and i cant see where another 2.5mil+ would come from, especially when harrison got a million.
Considering the amount of people who would watch the fight round a friends or at a bar, to do over a million buys is insane! That said, it felt like everyone was staying up for Hatton v Mayweather
