Lirva, I actually agree with your pointless complaint on this occasion. It's very, very, very annoying that they do this.

I remember Sky showing adds constantly for some Led Zepplin album during the Mayweather-Hatton fight.

I can accept it on regular Sky Sports, but after paying £15 for the privilege it's not ****ing acceptable really.

I agree, Sky are total scum, even more so as Gary 'Rat Face' Nevile will be working with them next season, ****.

    I am a Liverpool fan.

It's like the ad breaks during Formula 1 when it was on ITV, that used to **** me off. They would return from the break and the leader had crashed out etc.

advertising is my personal pet hate, when itv used to show fights a couple of years ago, they cut to a short add between every one of the first 6 rounds of a 12 round fight, it spoils the fight. as for sky box office, all they care about is money, as if they're not making enough from the ppv, without making more from advert's between every round.
have you seen the hernan marquez - luis concepcion fight, i dont which channel it was on, but they were showing adverts DURING the fight, across the bottom of the screen.
thats where we will be heading next.

Yep this drives me mad too, every fight they feel the need to say this. Is anyone seriously going to make a complaint about bad language in the corner? If sky are that worried then just put a warning at the start of the programme rather than flap about it every time it happens.

So would people be willing to pay the extra money to off set the revenue lost by cutting the adverts?

It is a legal obligation to a point, especially when some of the really special swear words are used.

So that's why you mysteriously disappeared from the RBR when the ads were being shown...
