Sky commentary - a new low

Hit the nail on the head, I always think Watt gets the shitty treatment even tho hes one of the better commentators

 

I don`t think Watt will ever be as bad as he was for the Haye-Valuev fight.He obviously scored the fight on how he thought biased hometown judges would score the fight.He was giving Valuev rounds for just plodding forward and not landing a punch,granted in some of the rounds Haye only landed a couple but it was still enough to win the rounds.

Watt looked stupid that night because two of the judges scored the fight properly.It wasn`t just his scoring, his whole commentry was terrble that night.By that low standerd he wasn`t that bad last night.

 

Nelson is a clown sometimes too.

He's far too over the top most weeks, saying that Father Time has caught up with Pacquiao is laughable. Alright, each of his last three performances have been slightly below his usual standard.... but most of the blame has to be shouldered on the opponent rather than the man himself.

My favourite Pacquaio fights in recent years have been against Marquez and Cotto, and on both occasions the opponent has come to win and caused a degree of difficulty.

There's a limit to how interesting a one sided shellacking can be, both for the spectators and Manny himself. Hopefully Arum realises that his man is a little off and lines him up a real challenge next time out.

I don't get Johnny Nelson. He talks in riddles that man. Not a lot of it makes sense and is kind of weird. He lives in his own little world.

 

i dont mind watt that much but he was **** last night. really, really bad

 

I do blame Manny as much as Mosley.

Every time there when to war and exchanged a number of combos Shane came worse and and/or was badly rocked. You hardly expect him to do that for the whole fight otherwise he wouldve been KO'ed by round 6. He was following brother naz's gameplan of moving left staying just out of range and hoping for a straight right counter.

Every time manny pushed the tempo he looked in control, but generally he didn't. If he stepped it up wouldve had him out sooner.

 

If the fight had lived up to expectations, would there still be a call for Watts head?

 

The issue is the commentators opinions was different from your own.

I haven't yet seen the fight properly bet when i saw numerous touching of gloves in a 6 minute period of being awake i think both men brought boo's on them self.

Mosley didn't run imo but he ****ing didn't fight by looks of it and that's why i went back to sleep. By sounds it was as if as soon as he was hurt he shut up shop and saw the fight out?. Tbh he isn't first and won't be the last to do that.

We often get these debates about the commentary nothing seems to change personally from what i heard i didn't think it was that bad but i didn't watch a large portion of the sparring session.

 

pac should have cut off the ring work the body and fight inside more.
