Well you should if you make a thread like this. I don't like Rawling either, but Darke is terrific

godfather, you don't even know the difference between john rawling and ian darke mate and you are criticising the commentating. educate yourself more on the commentators and you might get taken more seriously. its a horrendous error to mention darke and rawling in the same sentence and one of the biggest insults you could give to a man of the quality of darke.

Turns out it was Rawling and Watt who did the Barker-Spada fight.

I don't see why people dislike Rawling.

He's as good a commentator as there is out there..... some people do nothing but moan no matter what.

Any of Darke, Halling or Rawling are very good, sure they all have off days but don't we all?

Ill just keep it simple, Rawling and Watt were over critical of the man who was pushing the fight. Mosley got nailed and planned to survive the fight by turning to the left and keep spoiling.

Listening to Rawling and Watt it was as though Pac had been messing around in camp and was having a mare, when infact he came to fight and put on a show but mosley came for a post-divorce retirement fund. Watt and Rawling should be ****ing appauled with the diatribe the spouted! I actually found myself getting pissed off and arguing with them instead of 'enjoying' the fight.

After the fight we went to the studio to listen to the clueless mug that is Johnny Nelson father time catching up with a 32 year old hahaha wtf? Nelson has always been critical of Pac and is a known nuthugger of Mayweather and goes out his way to pick minor faults. Whenever he gets questioned he responds with further nonsenical diatribe!
Barry called it right for me and should be a regular fixture alongside Richie Woodhall/Tris Dixon or a Bob Mee even?

Finally to conclude, can anybody tell me how on earth Mayweather beats Pac? Pac has the power to be the first to beat and ko PBF imho and even if he doesnt win by stoppage i see him winning due to forcing the action and landing the more blows. No way PBF wins the fight shoulder rolling and pot-shotting with few punches. Pacs chin has stood up against the best fighters the weights have to offer and I see no way PBF puts a dent in him. I basically see Pac pressing teh action and PBF spoiling with the odd telling exchange, a boring fight in all fairness that ends with Pac winning.

I was referring to whoever was commentating last night. All you need to know is whoever it was did a bad job. I couldn't care less what his name is.

"Horrendous error" :rofl:rofl:rofl Exaggerate much??

Why do I need to educate myself on commentators? I'm not trying to pass an exam. Plus I accepted in my second post that I had the wrong bloke.

I agree. Pac threw less last night as he was concerned with Mosley's power and didn't want to put himself in a position to be hit clean. Mayweather's power will not trouble Pac. I see the fight being close for the first few rounds, with Manny winning them on volume. Within the first half of the fight Pac will catch Mayweather at which point, already being down on the cards and being hit way more than usual, Mayweather will go into a shell and look to avoid getting hit and so last the distance.

I see Pac winning a fairly one sided fight on the scorecards, but with the rounds being kept competetive with Mayweather's defensive tactics and pot shotting.

I concur totally, can anybody remember the sky coverage of harrison v haye. Nelson was talking up audley as tho he stood a strong chance and barry shot him down

After the fight Nelson was like ''i knew haye would trouble him'' etc etc and Barry just looked startled at the contradiction and said ''I told you Johnny. Audley wasn't going to change a habit of a life time and come out fighting. He fights similary to a rabbit stuck in headlights'':rofl

Wee Barry should be taken on permanetly and drop Nelson. I'd also prefer to see more of Ian Darke with a certain Richie Woodhall. That'd be immense...

Every single week these same threads pop up complaining about the commentary. If it bothers you so much, the n turn down the sound, simple as.
