I can understand the guys getting behind the Brits but come on, how can Jim Watt give the 12th round to Murray? After that he had the cheek to shout robery! No controversy here. Murray did well, but when rounds are as close as they were you can't side with the challenger.

That being said, I think Barker would win a wide decision against Sturm!

Sturm, Mackin, Barker, Murray are all pretty evenly matched.

Lee may be better than them all.

    Martinez certainly is.

He scored the 12th a draw I think which was still obscene

I just posted something like this in the general, but Watt's performance in this fight was especially weird in comparison to Sturm-Macklin. There, if anything, people were mad about him being biased for Sturm.

Watt scored it by one single point to Murray, then cried robbery. Sums it all up.

Sky were ****ing terrible yesterday. I don't mind getting behind the flag and always do, especially in the underdog stories i.e. I'll be supporting Chisora tonight, but Sky were awful.

Time to trade Watt in for an articulate younger, more famous fighter. It would be great to see if someone like Benn or Eubank could do it.

Watt was disgraceful and Adam Smith was nuthugging Sturm before the fight even started.

    this i agree with

watt i think was a good co-commentator in the past but now hes like a whinging woman , sturm won the 12th without doubt and the fight was nowhere near a robbery

smith was crediting sturm with everything he threw when many of the punches landed on the gloves.

i had murray by 1 point but so many rounds were difficult to score , a 2 point swing to any fighters was acceptable , certainly no reobbery though

Adam Smith was giving Murray a verbal blow job in the post fight interview.

Watt lost it a bit at the end but was good up until then.

Whereas Smith was wank - constantly ignored or talked over Murray's good work for the first two-thirds of the fight.

I Thought it was close and scored a few rounds 10-10 so agree two points either way difference was no travesty. I had Murray up by 2.
Agree with the **** commentary though.
I thought they favoured Sturm early on when they thought he was going to win. Then when they realised Murray had a chance they favoured Murray.
I felt that Murray did the cleaner work all night. Surm was punching the gloves all night but did land the heavier shots.
Sturm is clearly there for the taking but you'll have to KO him or pay him big money to leave Germany

Cannot disagree. It was unjustifiably partisan I felt, especially Watt. Always a close fight.
