What absolute shite. Warren didn't fork out millions of pounds for guys that cant even get a TV contract. The reason why this is a one of deal, is because Warren wants more money from a TV network, but is running out of time trying to make the deal.Read your newspapers next week. These guys will get more than a mention in every major paper.

can't help wondering if setanta were told to leave the olymians alone for next weekend if they wanted the cotto fight. looks like some sort of trade or deal was done especially as both were annonceed on the same day. its even more possible if the olympians is a one fight deal.

although setanta have german boxing next saturday as well which will be up against the olympians. setanta propably viewed cotto v jennings as more important than the german fights.

 

I'd guess one of the problems is that Warren wants to sell a package with the 4 fighters, while the TV guys just want the gold medalist. I mean out of the 4 "Olympic" fighters one didn't get a medal and another didn't even go to the games....its a tough sell to the casual fan without Degales gold medal.
