I was one of the few people who loved Ringside, i used to watch it every week and was one of my highlights of the week. Ever since they got rid of it and replaced it with these awful bitesize shows, the quality is awful. Just downloaded 2 shows to get me in the mood for tonights show, one lasted 1 minute and 1 lasted 3 minutes, seriously what is the point. I Film London have 1% of the sky budget, have amateur broadcasters but the coverage is a million times more insightful and interesting than the rubbish Sky are churning out.

    Bring back Ringside FFS!

Ringside got stale, boring and it was virtually the same every week.

If they did bring it back they need to have somebody on there who has the cobblers to ask the brutal questions fans want answers to, instead we got nearly an hour of backside kissing or staged face offs with some random old pro sitting between two fighters.

The issue is that Sky will push their agenda over anything else- iFL aren't really accountable to anyone.

Frank does similar on Boxnation although the Boxing Hour is fairly unbiased.

I'd like Ringside to come back as well but Sky clearly don't see boxing as that much of a priority anymore- it's not a money thing because Sky could easily afford to pay rights fees given their crazy bid for F1 exclusivity this week (nearly £1 billion for five years)

The best we can hope for is the PBC model to come over here (even it's for a brief period of time) to shake things up and maybe for Sky to sack off Halling and try out different people.

According to Big Abdul, it was taken off as they had hardly any big fights to discuss on a weekly basis.

So basically hiding the shyte boxing we now endure on Sky Sports such as this shyte tonight.

Sky could at least have a ringside show every 2 weeks FFS.

Big cutbacks at Sky due to all eggs in the EPL Football Basket with huge financial outlay, Grand Prix and PPV Boxing.

BT having a big impact on Sky Subscriber numbers with people leaving in numbers big enough to get the attention of Sky Mgt.

Boxing viewers falling away in the UK after 3 years of dog shyte - even some of the Pay per Poo bouts are struggling.

Sky pay Thierry Henry 2 million quid a year to say absolutely nothing yet can't stretch to a weekly hour long boxing show? Pathetic.

That is the problem mate - Sky should cut the cloth and get rid of most of these football pundits.

Henry is hard to listen too as very boring with zero passion.

Sack the lot of them and bring back Andy Gray

His contract per year is worth more than the football league highlights contract over three:lol:!

The exclusive f1 deal will probably cost a fair bit, know f1 used to get very good viewing figures on bbc/itv, think on sky it's not far off most PL matches

Would be interesting to see if sky try to get back the CL rights, ratings are meant to be cack on BT (less than half sky's averages) so uefa may want sky to come back in

Two Super Sunday games next season is more than the entire la liga rights for this year

It's been poor for a long time in my opinion.

    It needs an overhaul.

They can no longer afford revisita de la liga which was my favourite show on the channel, just do bitesize things now.

    Similar to ringside farce.

as poor boxing is at the minute on sky, its the only reason I pay the 20 quid

Just annoying when they openly say British boxing is on a high whilst simultaneously cutting coverage
