Sky cutting the Martinez interview

No, they were similar as in 'under dog but for rounds they impressed' with apparently the best (deffo Nishioka) and I seriously thought that if they both just had that extra umpth or better knowledge (or class) that the then they'd do wonders.
Basically they are our fringe fighters who should lhopefully learn more from the defeats and next time have a plan b/c etc. IM (novice) O.

and just on a random one - how do you rate Nishioka's hand speed? For me, right right up there.

 

i rather listen to the opinions of the fighters involved than the muppets in the studio.

i always watch the HBO broadcast ...even when Sky do show the fight. The quality & standards between HBO and Sky is obvious.

 

Same here. To be honest I thought HBO weren't giving Baker quite enough credit for the good work he was doing. He was losing almost every round but he gave Martinez a lot to think about. A few times they were saying stuff like "Martinez has clearly taken this round because Barker isn't throwing enough" and Compubox showed that Barker had landed more. Sergio still took the round because Barker was only landing jabs at that point, but saying Barker wasn't doing anything was unfair.

A very minor point compared to how bad the Sky analysis was at the start.

As would most, the fact is the lads in the studio weren't talking for long before the programme cut off.

They cant just cut from the interview to adverts, time was the issue.

 

I Sky+ the card and could only watch until the 6th round of Barker-Martinez and the ****in thing didnt play any longer, ****in no signal was apparently the problem!

That Barker fight was interesting at that stage and I would have like to have seen the rest of it, never mind the ****in interviews

 

I always record the programme after to make sure, mine cut off halfway but then it carried on on the next programme. They only scheduled it 2.30-4.30 like morons.
