On last week and a very good watch for those that missed it. A real context to the recent political history of Ukraine and an insight into the 2 brothers during the war. One thing I knew already from inside the ring was big Vitali is one tough man but his mental toughness and composure in a variety of horrible adverse situations is simply different level.
I watched it, was very interesting, clearly the two brothers are still very close, one brave bloke with a fire extinguisher, if Vitali had gotten free........ I never knew that the relationship between him and Zelenskyy was so fractious though.
That was one big surprise to me as well along with the end of his marriage. Zelensky appears to be sticking it to Vitali at every opportunity with a centralised political agenda. Thought Vitali was first class throughout, played the politics very well and a real fighting man you would want in the trenches beside you. Was just waiting for 'Let's go Champ' during the fire extinguisher incident. Vitali comes across as a real hero and a genuine man of the people.
I will definitely give that a watch. I've been dubious of Zelensky for a while now. Nothing seems to be being done to bring an end to the war- he just seems to enjoy taking billions to carry on regardless wearing his khaki gear a million miles away from the frontline. The Klitschko brothers at least seem to have a strong moral compass. Zelensky looks like a crazed coke head
I think Zelenskyy appears (to me anyway) resentful of a genuine Alpha male. Both of the brothers came across as a class act, and seem to genuinely love their country.
Give me Klitschko over Zelensky any day of the week. Seems way more genuine. @Beale cheers for the recommendation on this just finished watching it now. Gave me even more respect for the brothers. Was a really good watch.
I take it this is only available to watch on SKY, Beale? I am wondering if it is also on any of the other platforms that I may be subscribed to and can watch legally. I am not a SKY subscriber but would like to watch it.
It's a mere two years since the initial invasion of Ukraine, and apparently at that time both Klitschko's were at the top of the Wagner group's kill list. Evidently both men have cojones operative far beyond the world of boxing; I hope they both live to see a victory (whatever that may look like), and there should be some accolade from the world of boxing for their bravery, which extends far beyond anything you might see in the ring.
If DAZN done movies, this would be a cert to be on DAZN Box Office while you get one Peppa Pig episode per week as part of your subscription.
