Can people stop blaming Amir Khan for the failure to make the Haye/Klitschko fight on April 30th? That is NOT the issue. Like everyone said it would be laughable for Sky to pick showing Khan/Peterson on PPV over Haye/Klitschko. The issue is the Royal Wedding. Either Sky, Haye or both are not confident that a Haye ppv on April 30th would be a commercial success given the way that the William-Middleton nupitals will dominate the tabloid media agenda and how many people will be using the double public holiday to have a long weekend away. The initial Sky report saw the reporter mention that the Haye camp didn't want to do it on April 30th. Klitschko has come out and mentioned the same thing. Haye doesn't want to say that in public because he (understandably) doesn't want to admit that he's worried that his biggest fight wouldn't be able to draw against a society event.
Exactly. Wlad would have been wanting to fight Haye but SKY PULLED THE PLUG. Wlad says the fight will happen on July 2nd so whats the problem? Why is the Haye camp blaming Wlad for SKYS DECISION Adam Smith shows how much of a tool he is once again
sky has a contract with khan with specific months which also lines up with khans hbo dates, plus RTL and SKY have to be open to broadcast on the exact same date which they are but only july 2nd.
I think one of the issues here is that are we to believe Wlad in saying he will fight Haye so soon after the Chisora fight?
