Sky forced to appologise for Kovalev language

    Watching the live feed on Sunday morning I noticed the sky presenters apologising after Kovalev unleased the following tirade.

    "Next time I will kick his a**"

    Now I understand that your upset after loosing your titles, Sergey, and you may be even trying to build up a "bad boy" image, but please keep your disgusting filth to yourself. That kind of language may be acceptable where you come from but not in the west. I am personally going to write to all four major governing bodies and lobby to get him banned for life.

    I'm glad this isn't just being swept under the carpet.

    Absolutely disgusting. Ed Robinson thinking a one line apology will cut the mustard on this? No, not for me. If Ringside were still on I would be expecting Adam Smith and Johnny Nelson to immediately address this on Thursday's show before the opening credits had even rolled.

    Oh he said a naughty word. The hypocrisy of the mainstream media in the west is astonishing. When they have no qualms with depicting women bear all and men behaving like mindless dogs on reality tv shows before watershed hours, they have the audacity to squirm at hearing a man who is enthralled in a sport of disciplined violence, utter the word ass.

    This reminds me for when Western states go to war and inevitably kill civillians, it's nonchantatly considered collateral damage. Yet if a country such as Russia do the same, they begin counting the death toll of the victims.

    And sky had to say sorry? Ffs you have girls getting naked on the 900 channels but you cant even say ass at 4am. Sky's morality is completely warped

    To be fair, they don't want PPV boxing attracting perverts who like to w--k off to Kovalev's interviews. It's not what SKY BOX OFFICE is about.
