Sky giving priority to Khan over Wlad/Haye makes no sense.

no but he will file a lawsuit for the contract he signed stating the cut of the ppv money and main event headline he is supposed to get.

Ok from my understanding, it appears as though both Haye and Wlad were willing to fight each other in April of this year. However, Sky don't want to show two ppv's in the same month and have already promised Khan a date in April.

So why would Sky give priority to Khan when....

- Khan doesn't even have an opponent named yet.

- His fight in April is most likely going to be a tune up in preparation for a unification fight with Bradley/Alexander.

- Khan is NOT a ppv draw in the UK. The last time he had to carry a ppv he did 30k buys against Kotelnik. I am convinced that Khan would not be able to do 500k+ buys unless he fought Hatton, Mayweather or Pacquiao. Sky will be lucky if Khan's April bout does 100k buys.

- In contrast, Haye has proven himself to be a huge draw in the UK. Consistently doing over 500k buys. You add that to the fact that he's fighting the number one heavyweight in the world and you're almost guaranteed to be doing over 1 million buys.

As far as the Wlad/Haye fight not happening, I can understand both perspectives. Wlad doesn't want to remain inactive for over 9 months during his prime. Fair enough.

Haye on the other hand doesn't understand the logic in risking the most lucrative heavyweight fight since Lewis vs Tyson for the sake of a tune up bout against a fighter with only 14 professional fights.

Personally, I really think that Sky has dropped the ball on this. Why turn down the most lucrative heavyweight bout since Lewis vs Tyson in favour of a Khan tune up fight? It makes no sense!!
