Sky leaving boxing?

The absolute radio silence from Boxxer since the BBC announcement makes me think the deal in reality is a pig.

Surely if it was a good deal you'd be bouncing up and down about it

 

Yeah it’s almost certainly a deal with a very limited budget isn’t it

 

4 shows a year. Nothing more to say.

 

All this for barely a 6 figure fee 4 times a year, highly unlikely .

 

After the 4 shows ( if it gets that far ) the BBC will dump him and that will be the end of that .

 

It wouldn't surprise me if it doesnt even do 1 show.

Like to me, you get the Clarke vs TKV fight announced as fast as you can

 

I think you’ll get at least one or two shows, both parties have done their PR and you’d assume the funding and everything is in place for those. I wouldn’t be shocked if it tails off (whether through poor viewing figures, lack of cash or Shalom getting a different offer elsewhere) and we don’t get all four shows though.

Surprising news. Must be getting a good percentage of that small BBC budget. Maybe Shalom promised him he'd be a household name on the BBC, maybe it's hard to build a profile on DAZN unless you're fighting a YouTuber these days.

 

If Ben would of done his job in the first place Adam would of been a real world champion already, it's due to his poor management Adam still not a known name..

So at this stage he should of been moving to a top promoter with a world title..

Anyone know what's happening with Ben Whittaker? If he stays with the BBC, I can totally see him on Strictly Come Dancing, he'd be in his element there.
