Do you need to be subscribed to sky to book PPV fights? Surely you can still book box office stuff as long as you have the box and dish?
The box won't work without a viewing card though ? To get one of those you'll need to be a subscriber.
You don't need to subscribe to get a viewing card: "All you need to gain access to the free channels available on the digital satellite platform is a Freesat from Sky viewing card, which costs just £25." http://www.sky.com/shop/freesat/home/faq/
This is why I'm asking, surely you can do this? I do have a viewing card. I cancelled my Sky package a few months ago but you still get all the freeview channels through the box. Surely it will still be possible to book the fight?
