How many people will actually be paying £15 themselves for the PPV, compared to how many will simply pick up their parents remote control and push the red button, letting mum and dad foot the bill? I'm only asking as it always seems to be the younger generation that are happy with the whole PPV scenario, so I'm wondering whether it's because they still live at home with their parents and don't have bills and **** to worry about? Or is it because youngsters have grown up on PPV's and don't know any different? Whatever the reasons are, it's still a ripoff.
anyone who's pissed at sky, don't like virgin, hate murdoch, hate paying money for overpriced fights....in fact hate paying money for any fights on PPV.....and of course are tight baS****s .....should just get an "itgate 220" and connect to a cable connection.....from then on....its all free.... not that i promote stealing or anything remotely like that
It is, but I am being inextricably drawn to the freak show that is Oscar v Kung Fu master....I just can't help myself
Still no-one telling me a better card????. DLH,Pac,Ortiz,Juanma,Jacobs,Khan,***an,Harrison,Rogan for 15 quid, If thats not worth it nothing is. Sky has been **** for a while, mainly due to Setanta taking the fights that would be free to air, but as far as ppv goes this is far better than the usual. Folk are too used to moaning.
the only recent ppv which i thought was worthy of being a ppv was floyd-hatton, and thats just because it was the p4p number 1 against a british fighter and there was a huge amount of hype leading up to the fight. none of the british part of this ppv will be as interesting as froch-pascal which is free. in fact i'm more interested in watching o'donnell - mutley than the harrison and khan fights. ppv's should be exclusively for those rare special fights which can't happen without the purse generated by ppv.
I, like many people in the world, don't pay anything for DVD's, that is what the internet was invented for!! That and p0rn
