Indeed he has. The 10 year reign of terror is over, the only entertainment Eddie will give us now is watching DAZN crash and burn Anyway it's early days but feels like real boxing is finally back on Sky Sports
Slight downside still is the dynamic duo Smith and Macklin on the commentary. 'He is a monster' screamed Smith when Inoue's fight was stopped - really Adam? Those two really need to up their game or just give us the host commentators please.
Think we'll just have to compromise or learn to tolerate it - We've finally got decent boxing back on Sky but the atrocious commentary is going nowhere I'm afraid, Smith is like a piece of furniture at Sky Sports he's been there what, 25 years ?? BTW did any of you watch the American video packages on last night's card ?? In comparison to what we've been getting served the last 10 years it was an absolute embarrassment the producers of the UK ones should be ashamed of themselves
Quite glad Eddie has sodded off to DAZN to be honest, listening to latest IFL interviews with the likes of Benn etc, pointing to people and saying these guys asking for more money, way it's going, have to give it to them etc. Had enough of all that cobblers and the rubbish he's been allowed to put together and get away with, on PPV to boot. Hopefully the right fighters on Sky get the right promotion now.
Yep, rubbish like this will be limited to Youtube and DAZN now and thankfully not Sky Sports News : This content is protected We had 10 years of the above thank god it's over is all I can say, without exaggerating Eddie Hearn is one the fakest human beings I've ever encountered
Watched it earlier and thought the same thing about him and golovkin.dasmarinas was in survival mode after the first punch landed.
With world class fights like this no one can complain anymore lol. It's been a few years now the mugths were getting told be grateful for the puddings vs puddings being sold as pay per view.
Eddie might be having a reality check ? Early days but Sky seem to have moved quick to get some quality boxing content, long may it continue.
Next week lomachenko vs the very under rated nakatani. 2 sat/sun night fights in a week better than years of dross.
Scary thing is sometimes feel like he has a extra gear he can go ,looks just so relaxed knowing exactly he will get ti his man Definitely feel he could move up again best likes of fulton
Fully agreed. On a side note, even Adam Smith was alright. Purely just commentating on what he was watching in front of him rather than trying to sell a narrative.
He was a bit better than normal but screaming 'he is a monster' at the end is what we remember. Obviously found it hard to get much info on the little man outside his boxing record and nickname. Just describing the action in the ring is what they need to focus on fight by fight. Did notice a huge difference with no flogging of Matchroom agendas.
