Slight downside still is the dynamic duo Smith and Macklin on the commentary.

Those two really need to up their game or just give us the host commentators please.

 

Think we'll just have to compromise or learn to tolerate it - We've finally got decent boxing back on Sky but the atrocious commentary is going nowhere I'm afraid, Smith is like a piece of furniture at Sky Sports he's been there what, 25 years ??

BTW did any of you watch the American video packages on last night's card ?? In comparison to what we've been getting served the last 10 years it was an absolute embarrassment the producers of the UK ones should be ashamed of themselves

 

Quite glad Eddie has sodded off to DAZN to be honest, listening to latest IFL interviews with the likes of Benn etc, pointing to people and saying these guys asking for more money, way it's going, have to give it to them etc.

Had enough of all that cobblers and the rubbish he's been allowed to put together and get away with, on PPV to boot.

Hopefully the right fighters on Sky get the right promotion now.

On a side note, even Adam Smith was alright. Purely just commentating on what he was watching in front of him rather than trying to sell a narrative.

Obviously found it hard to get much info on the little man outside his boxing record and nickname.

Just describing the action in the ring is what they need to focus on fight by fight.

Did notice a huge difference with no flogging of Matchroom agendas.
