I'm sure they said Hughie Fury was on this card so it could be him vs Bakolie?

No Dappy on the night - he was getting it as well if he turned up.

Hughie 'The Skirt' Fury would be a step down for Bakolie - a step up for me would be someone like Joyce

Never gonna happen because you'd have the regular 90 minute games lasting on average at least 100 minutes and it's just too much, games would be on average too long.

That’s an interesting fight, if it happens.

Wildly off topic for this thread, but FYI the proposals were about having a 60 minute game time.

Teams could easily keep typical matches to the 115 minutes or so a match currently takes (90 mins + added time + half time break) - and if they don't, it's their own time they are wasting.

I wasn't disagreeing with any of that, but what I said is a PPV for Shields v nobody and Marshall v nobody makes DAZN look good value.

If, as is going around, it's Eubank v Williams as the main event then, then I'd consider those two cards to have similarly attractive main events - Whyte-Wallin edges it, but I wouldn't mind seeing Eubank-Williams.

If DAZN are asking £8 for that, and Sky asking £15, £20 or (most likely) £25, the value proposition is firmly in DAZN's favour.

I dont see the point in a fight between Hughie Fury and Martin Bakolie. It´s a very dangerous fight for Hughie Fury. He could loose.

I don’t think Eubank vs Williams will be PPV. Adam Smith has said they won’t be having any PPV this year and that fight is rumoured for December.
I think Sky want to build some goodwill just now.

That’s what makes it an interesting fight. Bakolie is a live opponent but one which Fury should beat imo. Great fight for the fans.

The Skirt will be flying all over the ring when Bakolie catches up with him - no way The Skirt wins this fight.

Sky Sports is well on its way to picking up the pieces - both inside and outside the ring.

Yeah they’ll always be okay. Lots of people have Sky and access to Sky Sports News and the website to find out about upcoming fights.

There’s lots of sports I watch on Sky (darts, cricket, golf etc) but I wouldn’t pay 8 quid a month for a streaming service just to watch one of those sports and a lot of people will be like that with boxing.
