Can’t see anything about that, and seriously doubt he would do that.
What he said when very drunk was really nothing, so don’t see why he would go full on racist when sober on the internet.

Doesn't match up to the 70s or 90's in terms of depth and the fights we seen in those decades but it's better than the 80's and the tripe we had to put up with during the previous Klitschko reign.

So as far as I'm concerned it is the best it's been in many years.

This era is basically on par with the previous one minus the equivalent of the 2 Klitschko brothers, and most the top fighters from the US and UK instead of Russia/Ukraine.
Basically if you had removed the brothers out of the previous era, it would have been much and much more competitive. Chagaev, Povetkin, Thompson, Peter, Valuev, Pulev, Haye, Solis, Sanders, Byrd, Chisora, Helenius, Arreola, Byrd, Ibragimov, Brock, Chambers, Oquendo and others all battling it out among themselves.

AJ hasn`t transcended the sport in America and Canelo is largely unknown to sports fans in Europe.

The top 20 heavies aren`t that good in today`s game if you take out the top 5.

I agree but he`s a very big star in the UK, not as famous as Frank Bruno was though, PPV has killed boxing in the UK, Benn v Eubank drew 15 million viewers on ITV in 1993 it was free to watch as was Benn v McClellan in `95 which drew 17 million viewers, that`s exposure AJ will never have, if he transcended the sport why couldn`t he even get third place in the BBC sports personality of the year contest the year he beat Wlad, cause most people voting never got to see that fight, only boxing fans would pay for it on PPV.

Americans aren`t doing that well at heavyweight as they use to, Wilder got battered v Fury and Ruiz got out-boxed by AJ and Hunter is not in the top 5.

That might be true which only indicates they have even more upside growth as both intend fighting for another 7/8 years.

Potentially it could have been a great era. But with one thing and another with some playing silly beggars, it's blown its best years.

And I still don't think Fury and AJ will take off.

Sky Sports Boxing overrated EVERY WEIGHT and EVERY British fighter.

Sky wasn't a platform, it was a promotional outfit.

Well, this fight was actual mainly only to british boxing fans, A.J and his handlers not for all world at all.
If you value surnames on resume, then this might be interesting ofc but this was not fight of the year or anything close to this.
    A. Wlad's era then was history.
    B. Wlad did not had fought more than 12 months before this fight and looks that actually had been " reanimated " by Eddie to get for A.J fight with some notable surname.
    C. Wlad did not had belts more than 12 months before this fight, also was 41 y.o. Come on, this was reality.
    D. Wlad had looked very boring:nonono and lethargic in his last fight vs Fury when he was 39 y.o.
Really, plenty of boxing fans, btw including some Wlad's fans think that Fury get win in Germany vs Wlad exactly because Wlad looked very boring in this fight. Of course he was very big name and draw in Germany and also rich businessman - investor, not only just boxer.
Still even German scene might have border of patience. Fury get win on cards in Germany.

Total pish that is!! The Scottish media promote him well and he has a good support in his native country. What associations does he have with the EDL? Sadly scottish tv dont have the money to show his fights. He will defend his titles at edinburgh castle or easter road in the near future and make himself a few quid. Sky TV's golden boy of the last few years has been accused of racism...but i guess thats ok??

    It’s comparable with the 80’s.

I think the Klitschko era is better.

Honestly, I find it hard to take seriously when people pretend other divisions produce better quality fights than the HW division.

Give me Chisora vs Parker over Taylor vs Ramirez or Pac vs Spence any day.

Boxing is about seeing the baddest men on the planet knock each other out. The baddest men are not campaigning in any division other than the unlimited one.

Absolute cobblers that, he talked shite to a bouncer who pissed him off and said some regrettable things, but a member of the EDL? Literally never been anything like that associated with him.
