So what you're saying is that Fury would arguably have the most fanfare across both sides of the pond collectively. He did sell a lot of PPVs and dominated Wilder in the US after all, that has to have given him some serious recognition in the UK and US.

No one needs anything to " pretend " and if you prefer to watch only HW, do this.
    You need to see KOs?
Then looks like bunch with HW fights are not suitable for you to watch. I mean if you need to see fight ended by stoppage.

I love watching boxing. I just love watching HW boxing more.

Whenever I watch a boxing fight, I hope it ends in ko.

Fury made racist comments too, but has had far more hype than Josh.

Nowhere near a great era, but quite possibly the best athletes ever. Lennox Lewis and the Ks set the gold standard bar for the new era of 6'5 plus HWs weighing in at 250 pounds.

The current top 3 are just a continuation on of that type of big man phenomenon, with Wilder coming in at 6'7 and still considered the 'smallest' of the bunch.

A HW fighter with that kind of mold and athleticism would wreak havoc on most if not all HWs from those golden eras of the 70s and 90s. I can count on one, may be two hands how many tough guys from 70s 80s and 90s would actually be competitive against the new generation of HWs (from Lennox's reign - today)

Frazier would destroy someone like Wilder with counter hooks and Ali was far quicker than any fighter in the heavyweight division now.

Speed alone doesn't win you a fight,
Chris Byrd had all the speed and all the moves on Ibeabuchi, but got ruthlessly KOd all the same...
and when you talk about Clays unmatchable speed, youre really only speaking of a handful of fights in the early to mid 60s, against lesser and often smaller men.
By the 70s when he really stepped up his level of competition he was not nearly as dazzling or as fleet footed and took way to much punishment to stand in there with a 6'6 260 pound athletic giant.
And you don't think Wilder is capable of catching Frazier with those longazz arms?
Foreman was no master off the backdoor, and Frazier never came close to reaching him...why is Wilder so different?

Kinda feels like the K bro era except the top 2 will fight and we will have an undisputed.

    fury
    AJ

    the rest
challengers are more exciting however and so are the top 2 guys
