In administration would they be able to buy new fights or would they just have to use any existing contracts?

I hope ITV4 or Channel 5 pick up BBH if Setanta go to the wall.

The SPL can go an **** themselves. Did anyone on here actually subscribe to setanta to watch a two horse race (oh will it be celtic, will it be rangers)

Ok the setanta money men messed up. Any potential buyer knows that, and will let the rights revert to leagues before taking over setanta.

Look at it this way, would you rather buy a broadcaster with a **** load of debt or a broadcaster free of major obligations that you can rebrand?

You can say what you want about the SPL being a two horse race. But at the end of the day the SPL rights were setantas bread and butter. I honestly think they are now on borowed time.

  11. at you feeling the need to mention Tory Lane. Classy Bird!

ITV are backing out of boxing, so that's a non-starter. Five, you never know.

    Bread and butter my arse.

It's interesting to notice your username. So the home of boxing that had EPL and England rights as well as UFC, football from all over europe relied on the SPL?

    Grow up.

    I worked for setanta...

The amount of subscriptions in Scotland is unreal, they account for a massive amount of their customer base.

  15. Fair enough. I missed that, I just though you were suffering from porn tourettes.
