tell you what does **** me off tho....as great as Sky+ is, this happens to often...a programme that you've recorded goes past the scheduled time and the recording cuts off right in the middle of the show. i got back from work this morning, stuck the boxing on and only got to the 3rd round and "END OF PROGRAMMING", good job they repeated the fight at 8 o'clock. Has happened to me a lot with tennis and football going into extra time, they need to fix this
Are you sure you're doing it right? My sky+ recorded the whole thing fine, as always recording to the end of the show...
That interview was a circus. His questioning was awful and he had no control. Mosley was also very disrespectful to Floyd after a great preformance. Jim Watt's scoring was awfull all night!!!
really? i think i am i just stuck it on record, unless the settings are wrong i'll have to have a look now though. Maybe the memory ran out but i think i had enough left. must be just mine then if yours worked ok.
What did you think of Watt last night? Like I said earlier, the third round was Marquez', yet he didn't get a single mention. How can he justify that level of bias? The amount of punches he didn't call from Marquez was a joke. He evensaid at one point, Marquez had landed "two or three clean puncheeeeeeeeeeees". What nonsense. Sky have such a **** boxing team. Nelson is, remarkably, more boring in a suit than gloves. McCrory sounds like an idiot and has zero enthusiasm. There's no knowledge or passion there. It may sound sycophantic, but Britsh boxing needed Gutteridge and Carpenter. Right now, it needs Bunce.
And Kellerman was awful too. That interview was pure hype and would have built a great fight. He should have let them argue. It's what everyone wants to see, so why try and get a respectable interview when you know the answer is going to be "Im going to talk to my managers". Boxing interviews are usually poor and this time, Kellerman made sure it was.
:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl That was brilliant. But yeh i hate Jim Watt he always sums up at the end of the fight as well that the fighter lost should always retire. :huh
:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl Absoulute disgrace as per usual. Watt and smith are the most biased commentating duo i think i've ever seen.
Darke and McCrory on the mike and Bunce and guest in the studio.... its beginning to get more then annoying. Nelson is good but its all a little boring these days.
I agree Jeff, Bunce could quite easily lead the coverage - ask questions of the guy in the guests in the studio.... inspire debate between them. All Clark does is read the script and nuthug whomever he is told to nuthug. That isn't good coverage, by any stretch.
Iv been calling for this mans head for at least a decade. Im glad people are finally cottoing on. Watt is opinonated but thats where it ends. As a commentator he's a pile of crap. I actually prefer Ian Darke over him and thats saying something.
