sky are really not doing themselves justice by deciding to not show the real heavyweight title fight and instead showing there guy who won a paper title for a mickey mouse belt

you can bet your life fury wont forget this and if he goes on to dominant for years to come im sure he will play hard ball with sky and make them pay

SKY could have dictated to Eddie Hearn to move the date, if they wanted.

Fury v Klitschko in Britain will be massive.

Joshua might be a big draw but it's going to be hard to spin a fight against a Malik Scott or a Berman Stiverne or (???????) into something to rival Wladimir Klitschko coming here to seek revenge on Fury.

People who've never heard of Box Nation will hear about it now. SKY making a mistake.
I think Hearn might still have second thoughts and bring it forward.

That's a good point actually. People who have been drawn in by AJ and start to get a taste for boxing (remember, we wasn't all born hardcores...) may well end up plying more money into FW through this.

Aj clearly taking fight so quick because of the hgh cycle he us running...THOMAS HAUSER ON PEDS CYCLE TO BEAT THE TEST...AJ IS NO EXEPTION....peds work beat AFTER your cycle...expect an aj easy win next time aswell...his Power is over rated....his speed is good....

People have to remember that Hearn and SKY are not only going up against FW, Box Nation, Fury and Hennessey, but also against the K2 and Bernd Boente promotional outfit.
And it's not just the UK, it's worldwide coverage. American networks will question it too.

I almost think Eddie Hearn will back down. SKY executives need to rein him in.

Bizarre to think of an AJ v some IBF ranked HW fighting at Wembley Stadium. It isn't even a very good venue for boxing and if it was AJ v Fury maybe you could see why they would use it but I don't think for one minute Hearn will go up against the Fury fight and stage it at Wembley.

I think the July 9th issue is down to Wembley only being free on that date.

Judging from Hearn's latest iFL interview it's clear he wants bigger venues for Joshua's fights for more revenue (fair enough). That only leaves stadiums. The opponent is likely to be American.

Jeez I can't believe anybody on here would seriously believe that sky would allow a PPV on the same day as Fury - Kiitschko...Even if Hearn wanted to clash (which is very unlikely) it would be a horrendous business decision and it simply isn't going to happen. With the boxing market split on which to watch how could they even do a forecast of projected figures? Plus I think people are forgetting that AJ calls the shots and essentially owns the show.

Can't blame Sky. The interest for the rematch is extremely low. Outside of the hardcore fans, very few will want to watch it so why pay millions for the rights?

The first fight was one of the worst PPV events Sky have ever had. Given the excitement Joshua is creating, they won't want to ruin it by showing two men afraid of taking punches for a second time.

Joshua is undoubtedly the A side. He brings:

    - Fans
    - The TV money
    - The IBF belt
    - Huge TV audiences

Fury brings what exactly? Two belts and a loud mouth? He doesn't sell tickets, TV numbers are poor and he isn't liked by Joe Public.

If I was Joshua I'd give Fury a 70/30 split at most.

Maybe but Fury is still Champion and Hennessy and team Fury have proven to be very tough negotiators and seemed to get the better over team Klitschko - it will have to be 50-50 or maybe even a slightly higher percentage in Tyson's favour

there's been loads of really bad ppv's that's why sky got rid of ppv's at one point.
