Sky's coverage for the start of 2013 looks poor!!!

It has seemed to me for a while now, that Sky's heart isn't really in it anymore. Been lots of better cards on BoxNation.

 

Eddie delivers a quality product, I dont know what people are moaning about

 

This was always likely to be the case when they scaled down the amount of boxing to be shown on Sky and made Matchroom the only promoter.

Prizefighter aside, I'd like to think on the remaining dates we'll see some good fights, January is usually pretty shite in the world of boxing anyway.

 

some overseas cards would be nice. they have really dried up.

 

That isn't all they have though they've got:
19th Jan- PF + Yafai
9th Feb- Frampton vs Martinez
16th Feb- Rees vs Broner
23 Feb- Brook vs Alexander
9th March- Barker + Purdy
30th March Bellew vs Chilemba

 

It depends what you get from Sky Sports I suppose. I don't watch much live football on TV these days as I have a season ticket and tend to just watch the highlights so my Sky Sports at £20 a month extra or whatever is expensive in comparison to BN which only charges me £10 and provides a lot more boxing, even if it is just repeats or interviews/news.

If you're a boxing puritan then you're paying a lot for Sky Sports but if you're into any of the other stuff it probably makes financial sense.

 

Sky coverage looks Good to me :good

 

Same old same old, your not paying skysports for boxing alone or Live football or Tennis, or Rugby, or Formula 1, or Darts or or or or or, the boxing that is on Sky is of a far higher quality than anything on BN.

Have you seen BoxNation's ****?

They've got three shows leading up to March. THREE SHOWS. Not worth it at all, it's as if I was paying for a PPV every month.
