Sky's coverage for the start of 2013 looks poor!!!

I don't have Sky or Box Nation anymore as I live in the US now but I will continue to watch streams or download the fights that interest me. I doubt there will be many domestic BM shows that I bother with.

Also Matchroom shows are shown live here on a Fight Channel so thats pretty cool.

I was hoping Boxnation would have pick up Coldwell, VIP & Hard Knocks

Cost would not have been extortionate and would have covered lots of fridays and saturdays

Steve Goodwin feels that all domestic shows on BoxNation are instantly labelled 'a Frank W show'. He wants Goodwin Promotions to have their own identity. Obviously Steve wants credit for his own shows too.

yep,and we will also get to see Selby-Lyndsey and Crolla-Matthews which are quality fights,I`m sure the op knows this and is just:stir. If Hearn is lucky and has few pullouts at his shows it should be a good start to the year.

From what I understand the overseas cards will be co promoted by Matchroom so they will be a part of the 20 fight deal.

It's a Eurosport/Sports Tonight split. Goodwin probably feels that there is little point in his fighters being stuck behind a paywall when there is a FTA deal on the table.

Apparently Matchroom are mandated to do 20 shows in 2013 so we should be okay when you add BN, 5, Primetime etc

Why is the Loaded TV deal? I worry about the lower level tv channels showing boxing as theres no quality control. Even Channel 5 allow Hennesey to produce ****.

Sky's opening few months look fairly promising, especially February which is quality.

    Brook/Alexander
    Broner/Rees
    Martinez/Frampton

    Great matchmaking by Hearn.

People saying BN have very few...they often pick up cards in the weeks leading upto fights, I'm sure they'll get it together, January is traditionally a slow month.

Maloney needed a TV deal. Not great coverage but watchable.

    haha, true.

    Matchroom on Sky
    Sports Network on BoxNation
    Hennessey on Channel 5
    Maloney on Loaded TV
    Hatton Promotions on Primetime

It all costs a bit but all the promoters seem to have homes. The major hurdle is them doing business together. This is the major issue.
