It's really sad being a fan of the sport and saying well done because a big fight got 668,000 viewers.
25 years ago Barry McGuigan was being watched by 18 million. Shame BBC/ITV no longer want to know.

Well you're the expert on these matters so I will go with 30k subs because "Jonsey" has heard from reliable sources. When will Boxnation be forced to go off air, in your opinion?

It's only reliable if it's someone who's seen the books. You might be right and I'm inclined to agree with you, but none of us know for certain.

    1. With all due respect I hope you are wrong, but you do make a good point.

    2. No comment.

:goodCheers mate, I really hope thats true, but it sounds just too good to be true! I think that is mostly likely a deliberate 'slip' to promote, or it is the peak thye have reached for maybe Haye Chisora?

    I forgot about that!

this is true. one thing I know is that the reason why top rank cards havent been on BN latley is due to them not paying for previous cards that were shown.

Could well be but I believe Tris Dixon stated that BoxNation did better numbers for Haye/Chisora than Sky did with Froch/Bute (668,000).

I think BBC & ITV get the blame to much. The promoters have to look at themselves.

    :deal

:happy Well if that is true I think that is simply fantastic, why on earth are Boxnation not shouting these sort of figures from the rooftop?!

They will need to start letting some numbers out, because if they don't people will just speculate and assume the worst, as with this forum!

Matchroom are putting on good cards and selling them as great. Sky are putting their media machine behind them and that should result in these sort of numbers and more.

    Haye vs Chisora

    Burns vs Mitchell.

Where the two biggest fights of the year and Boxnation did that!

Even Price VS Harrison was bigger than most of match rooms gigs.
