Sky have a domestic fight every weekend until march.

if you wanna keep calling yourself the home of boxing you better pull your finger out setanta.

    Berto vs Collazo Jan 18
Campbell vs Funeka, Angulo vs Mayorga, Santos vs Martinez - Feb 15
Marquez vs Diaz - Mar 1
Dawson vs Tarver - Mar 15
Klistcko vs Gomez - Mar 21

fights Setanta could be showing on weekend they do not have other fights planned. to call yourself the home of boxing you have gotta have at least 1 card a week............like sky.

    This is great.

And your right about Setanta. They really should try and put on a card every week.

How much do you guys think its costs (obviously depends on the fight) to get the rights for a fight? It would be great if setanta get at least a fight or two out of ones you listed but I think its a bit unrealistic for them to get all of them.

Setanta are doing a great job as it is. Don't want them going bust do we and have the whole thing collapse?!

I'm surprised at Sky's schedule and especially surprised they are showing Berto Collazo live.

Sky and Setanta can develop an Ali/Frazier like rivalry to transcend boxing viewership. "We can couldn't be what we are without them, they couldn't be what they are without us."

Thats why they get contracts with the companies that are doing the fights so it doesn't cost as much money to buy fights separately.

p.s i thought that list were fights sky would be showing as well

Although I really would not be interested in watching the dawson - tarver rematch, boring fight the first time and will be the same result as last time.

That is a nice list. Is it better than Margarito, Pavlik, Abraham and Cotto in the same period?

    Adios.

Oh, just realised Setanta are showing those fights, not Sky.

One Berto-Collazo fight is worth five Truscott-Simpson type fights. Although you can get some good tear ups on FNF.

No it isn't but i would not mind adding nate campbell's fight to the list, he seriously does not get enough exposure over here.

by the way does that mean jennings - cotto is on setanta???

I'm confused now. Are Setanta or Sky showing the fights listed in the first post?

I'm confused now as well. Buncey's statement has me wondering. Maybe Sky are showing those fights but they just weren't on the list and that's why the poster put them in the post instead.
