I think some people are getting confused, the fights Rob listed are suggestions. At the moment neither sky or setanta have the rights to the fights listed. Is Cotto vs Jennings definitely on setanta then?
I agree that smaller fights are good, but nothing can compare to the big fights and the build up, atmosphere and quality of the fighters, especially when a British fighter is involved in a big world title fight. Picture quality obviously cannot be the best, although it was for domestic fights on setanta last year, like Haye's fights.
all fights need to be on setanta. sky pundits are chained down and cant say what they think. the fights i listed are fights setanta could be showing. i would hope they pick up at least 2-3 of that list.
I know that our man of mystery who buys all our international fights is looking at every single one of the fights mentioned at the top of this thread. He hates me for saying that! And another point...Richie Woodhall and Dave Croft will be doing all of the commentating for all of the German shows. And one final thing. There is a cool show lined up for tomorrow at 2pm featuring a big mouth, so-called experts, know-alls, nutcases...don't worry some of the guests are OK. Adios
Thanks for the update Buncey. Its good to hear that setatna are at least thinking about getting the fights mentioned and hopefully they will pick a few up.
Marquez vs Diaz i think all would agree is the one we would like most, the card with Angulo would be great as theres 3 good fights.
Agreed, those are the two cards I want to watch the most from the list. Wouldn't surprise me if the picked up the Vitali fight to continue the build up to a potential fight with Haye.
Confusing thread and I don't agree with the title as for the amount I pay Sky their list sucks c0ck big time. Good to hear from Bunce that their dealmaker is looking at those fights as they contain some *******s. Especially the triple header. Kiss that man for me please Steve. I've been so impressed with Setanta coverage I'm seriously thinking off sacking Sky Sports off for the first time in about 10 years.
