Working our way backwards from the current crop of British PPV fighters such as Haye and Khan. Who have been the PPV fighters for Sky and at what point in their career were they launched as PPV stars.

I would be interested to see a list of these fighters and events in chronogical order to compare how many were operating at the same time and at what stage they were launched as PPV fighters i.e..
    Updated list:

*What fights are missing from this list now?

    - Can someone add:

    1. The number of buys (from what we know - i.e. see what is posted in the thread)

    2. Also, the chief support for each PPV.

    3. Country/City beside each PPV. *There are a lot of US locations on this list, I am sure there was a UK leg to many of these PPVs.

Yeah I would love to see a list of all of the PPVs that Sky have done with a boxrec link beside each one to compare the cards. That would be interesting for a comparison of what is being served now.

Bruno vs Tyson was the first one on Sky Box Office, interesting in those days you could get a fight for a reduced price of £10 if you ordered it early, maybe they should bring that back.

I wonder what Hopkins vs Pavlik did..... I'm sure that was PPV.

There's a general theme developing on both sides of the pond really, that certain fighters seem to be guaranteed on PPV, plus in America they give one promoter preferential treatment over all the others.

I've highlighted a few that I don't think are PPV worthy. Strange that DLH vs Shane I wasn't PPV.

Over here the fighters need to be told that PPV isn't an endless pot of gold..... the fight has to be significant for it to go on PPV. I'm not just talking about micky mouse alphabet fights.

As I'm getting Groves vs DeGale I don't mind paying extra for a top domestic fight.... it's a more significant fight to British boxing than either of Ricky Burns' defences to date, more than almost all the European fights we get on SFN too.
