Cus D'Amato made Teddy Atlas leave his trianing camp almost 30 years ago. Atlas then tried to spread rumors about Cus being *****, and his relationship with Camille Ewald a fraud. Atlas said that after Cus deied, retracted it (cliamed writer for People magazine misquoted him) but in recent years, he said it again. Atlas dissed Cus other times called Ewald names, and until recently, when Rooney's son started working in boxing and fighting, he was always putting Rooney down. Well, the **** head won. I guess he's gloating over this. http://www.thedailymail.net/articles/2012/05/18/sports/doc4fb5d11e4e783990831866.txt
I could care less ..Cus will always be Atals' Daddy ! It must kill him how everyone still loves him ..
It is probably going ot be mentioned on FNF, and it is in news. Why, you want it hushed up? And I did not in any way disrespect D'amato.
I don't think cus was a ***** or anything, but there are a few things I've read about that house that raises some suspicions with me. That house was a pedos dream, you got like 6-8 young boys coming from rough homes living there, sweating and working out everyday, vulnerable as hell. Teddy atlas said cus' room was always off limits to everyone, and the door was always closed. Not even miss D'amato was allowed in. Nobody dares enter......
Pedophily, sodomy on enfants like Mike, child abiuse by a stepfather? That **** would explain a whole lot even coming from a clear Tyson hater like you but if it is truth, they ought and should dig this and Teddy come out like a man he says he is!!!
D'Amato is quoted in articles for years dating back to the 50's on why he didn't get married. I can pull some up later. He basically talks about how he thought women are nice but they want "nice things." The "needed" things and he was to busy to give them what they needed. He thought if you are going to have a women you should have a steady income and he was about the quick buck. He was happy with simple things while they wanted this and that and that only led to you getting in trouble. It seems more like a discipline thing. He actually wanted it more for his fighters than himself. For them to get rich, get married and have a family. He was to busy setting them up. But who knows. World is crazy. Atlas however...come on. Legend in his own mind.
they're sweating because he's teaching them what will become their lives, the sport of boxing, in every capacity. there were a number of tough pre teens and teens living in that house. it makes perfect sense for cus to not want them in his room totally, and to set that boundary, as the owner and man, of the house. that bit about ms. d'amato(?) not being allowed in the bedroom is probably bull****. it sounds completely fabricated and if it were true, much more scruitny would have been brought to it, in this most macho of macho sports, in the years since cus' death.
