Slapsie slaps Jake for the better part of 15 rfounds and outfoxes him to win a decision.

Maxie Rose was a cutie and a good boxer at 175 pounds. In a catch-weight fight via a time machine, I see Maxie winning most of the rds and capturing a 10 round decision over Jake LaMotta... LaMotta would easily go the distance, but lose badly on points...

This one's about as severe a mismatch as Jake could be subjected to against somebody who couldn't hurt him. Maxie was a legitimate HW contender himself, who took seven of ten rounds from a previously undefeated Nova for the final legitimate win of his career. I do not believe he would have embarrassed himself against Louis, and may well have deserved to go out with a title shot against Joe.

Even Walker did not dispute that Rosenbloom got the best of him in their title match. Rosenbloom schooled Ramage in the final bout of their rivalry, no small accomplishment. Too slick for LaMotta.

    THIS

LaMotta was mostly successful against Welter cum Middleweights, Jake has very little to no chance against L-HWs cum HWs.
