I'm a professional sportsman in the sport I love, I have my own business and I work for the number one personal training company in the north west of england soon to be UK. I'm also on the final year of a business management degree, having recently completed my A-levels. I've been in the army, done the doors, manages a massive ISO security company, worked as a bodyguard for famous people and I've got two brilliant kids and beautiful missus. You fell out of school into the navy- because you couldn't get to college. Congrats. You can't even stick at that... Mind you i'd be pissed off cleaning bogs in a ship all day in afghanistan while your missus is prob getting chatted up by the decent local gentleman.
I'm glad you clarified the details of some of your losses. I watched some of your fights on youtube, and you don't look like a guy that is 10-6. Your record is wildly misleading.
Cheers my friedn- we'll talk better once this episode has concuded. off training now chaps have fun.. Charles watch some of my vids see if you can learn some new stuff.
I am not on a ship I supplement the Army. Its called an individual augmentee where the Army needs some boots on the ground. Also I am a radar technician in the military, and the only take the best and brightest in the military to do that job.
You can go **** yourself too, with the exception of calling my little boy a belter which i looked up is informal for good looking so thank you for that. Also looked at your youtube videos, and I never thought you were a crappy fighter before I just thought you were a dickhead to people. I must admit fighting Ricky Burns is very impressive, even having some fights is impressive. I told you before this began I have no hard feeling I was kidding with the stuff you said about the opponents you faced. I don't know a rats ass about any of them. I also think you got a good chin when I was watching your clips.
I also apologize for calling you a loser, because even if you did say some things about me I shouldn't go diving into what you do for a living, as I do not know you. I do admit you fight at a higher level then me 100%. You are much more technically sound, you have greater conditioning then me, and you also know a lot more then me about boxing and fitness itself. This whole thing was stupid and I was out of character critisizing you, because I do not know you at all. Even if you do not take the things back that you said, I however do take them back. You can think I am ugly, and you can think I have pepperoni nipples, but I also wouldn't want to see you attracted to the way I look.
Ok so whats up with them sledgehammer drills? Should it be done as a part of some circuit or can it be a separate excersise?
I have done them with a sledgehammer and a tractor tire where I slam the side wall of the tire as the tire is lying on the side 50 times on the left, 50 on the right then do that for around 3 or 4 rounds. I have never done the drill on its on, but have included it within other workouts.
It's a good exercise but will make little or no difference to your speed if you are an experienced boxer. It's more about muscular endurance rather then explosivity
