    Slick European Style Boxing

As a massive fan of the sport and the amazing styles that come to the table ie the slugger, the shoulder roll, the counter boxer, we could go on, but one style that has been lost in all of this, is the slick European style that has not been countered outside of Europe.
It appears that the European slickster style only seems to get beat, by Europeans who even if they dont adopt that style, know how to counter it.

    Current European Slicksters -

G Campillo - Slick European style that has only been decoded by a European boxer
D Haye - Slick European style that has only been decoded by European boxers
L Bute - Slick European style that has only been decoded by a European boxer
Z Erdei - Slick European style that has never really been decoded

Some future European slicksters to look out for are G Groves and J DeGale.

What other current European Slicksters can you note?

Naseem Hamed had a slick European style which wasnt beaten. He later took on an American trainer who although an excellent trainer changed him from the slick European style and then he was beaten.

J Nelson later adopted the slick European style and when he did, was never beaten and retired as a world champ

Eubank had the slick European style and ran up a fantastic undefeated run and was only ever beaten by European fighters who knew how to handle that style

Good call. I thought of him also. Fantastic undefeated European slickster who shocked America with his style when he defended out there
