Great clip. I made a gif of it and used to use it as my signature:

...But, thanks to reduced signature space allowances recently......it's not like I can use it again. :pc

Great clip! I had never seen this - any idea when it was made - around 1940?

    A lovely clip.

Watching it you would never think Willard harboured some serious animosity towards Dempsey re loaded gloves and what not.

I particularly love how Jack (after looking to struggle to pull his punches) drops all pretence of aggression to partake in a waltz concluded with a peck on the cheek.

    Very sweet.

I remember at the opening of the new Madison Square Garden in 1968, Rocky Marciano "fought" Packy East, aka Bob Hope. At the end of the skit, people came pouring into the ring, and everybody started waltzing. I remember seeing Jack Dempsey dancing with Gene Tunney similar to his waltz with Willard here.

That was it, but the footage shows Dempsey leaving Tunney and waltzing with Marciano. :nut
