I believe that is what Haye is hoping for. His only shot is to get Wlad to fight angry and irresponsibly.

 

Haye is counting on Wladimir getting wreckless, coaxing Wlad into a dog-fight. I doubt Wladimir is stupid enough to fall for that.. That's why he's changed his tactics and said that he'll jab him for 12 rounds then knock him out.. I don't see Wlad deviating from his plan unless he see's an opening to close the show early.

 

That's somw quality moves by haye. if he keeps this up at every pres confrence, wlad will be bouncing off the walls come fight night. its either the best thing haye can do or the worst im not sure?

I think that is just posturing by Wlad, too. Haye will give him many openings much earlier than the 12th round. I don't expect Wlad is going to reserve his punches just to draw out the fight. Wlad understands that Haye is a dangerous puncher, even if he is the vastly inferior boxer here. So, the longer the fight goes, the greater risk he is taking. The fight will end much earlier than the 12th.

 

Haye wants Wlad to walk him down the way he walked Sanders down.

 

hayes trash talk better be backed up in the ring. i still think this fight will be like watching old folks aquasize. the t-shirt seems less offencive to me then to wlad. haye does want to fight vitali too. it makes a kind of sick sence to have him on there too.

If the Ibragimov fight is your point of reference, then you are watching the wrong fight. Iggy fought in a defensive shell the entire fight, and is the one who should have gotten the blame for that one being a stinker. Wlad simply took what Iggy gave him, and reserved throwing the right hand because Sultan was attempting to counter it every time.

Unless Haye is a liar, then I doubt he is all of a sudden going to implement a defense-first type of fight plan. If you have watched any of Haye's fights, you know that he leaves himself wide open when he throws. Obviously, most of his former opponents have been too slow or otherwise unable to capitalize on this, though he has been caught and dropped many times. In Wlad's case, Haye will be a prime target for Wlad's best punch - the left hook. Haye relies all too often on a big sweeping right that leaves his chin wide open. Wlad is quick enough to take advantage of this. See round 12 of the Peter fight when Wlad wobbles Peter with a left hook counter. Now, imagine that happening several times in the first few rounds against Haye. Result: Wlad KO's Haye. Believe it, brother!
