examples where ref ruled a fighter being knocked down a slip or didn't rule anything which should have been ruled knockdowns? IMO Briggs vs Lewis. Only ropes held up Lewis and i think it could have been ruled a knockdown. Sanders vs Vitali should have been a knockdown too.
I recall Vitali going down after being stunned by Sanders. It maybe have been a trip due to the southpaw stance but I’d have to watch it again. Didn’t Bowe go down after getting tagged by Hide and it was ruled a slip? Lewis briefly touched the canvas against Akinwande from a punch/push high on the head.
There's a big one during the mid rounds of the FOTC. Frazier battered a wounded Ali around the ring the whole round and Ali slipped off a punch while wobbled and it was ruled a slip not a KD. I still had that round 10-8 from what I remember, but it'd be a certainty if that KD was counted.
Eubank vs Collins in the second round of their first fight. Clear clean knockdown. All three judges scored that round 10-9 Collins, when it really should’ve been 10-8 Eubank (which would’ve actually won him the fight..).
Ruiz dropping Valuev in round 2 or 3 of their rematch was ruled as a slip, it should have been scored as knockdown
If that KD in the first was scored correctly for Provodnikov, he would have gotten a draw out of it. This content is protected
Check this out. Robin Blake v Tony Baltazar in the 8th round. Check out this at 9:07. How was that not called a knockdown? This content is protected
