    No he wont.

    Lopez showed everything he had in the fight; all his Plans A to Z....and it was still close.

    His size and youth got him to this point, not this much talked about Ring IQ.

    If Lomachenko was dominated and had no answer for Lopez then I would say he was (mentally and physically) done but we didnt see his best on the night.

    If a rematch happens, Loma outsmarts him this time.

    Makes as much sense as concluding '22yo Lopez showed everything vs. Nakatani, therefore sLomo will make him quit'... then, you know, fight happened. :lol:

    History favors the young, green, hungry fighter in rematches, and since Lopez improved since Nakatani, gained first elite experience vs. sLomo with flying colors and will enter camp with 100% health, it's his fight to lose, and he looked to stop sLomo in the 12th before he headbutted Fimo. sLomo will get older and slower each day as he earns his shot vs. the Haneys and Gervontas of the world, and look what time did to GGG in the Clenelo rematch.

    unfortunately, thats the reality. loma is past the age that the average fighter starts to show signs of decline. we usually attribute it to wisdom, he just doesnt waste movement anymore, when in reality hes just conserving energy cause he doesnt have the tank anymore, or the reflexes to get away with doing what he used to get away with doing. plus, the challenges are not getting easier...no more cupcakes.
    teo did not sound like hes looking to give loma the rematch, on his interview with max. and loma has an injury to recover from, with no guarantee it will be successful. i remember how successful they said it was last time. so i suggest loma moves down to 130, or retire. cause 135 is full of big, strong, speedsters.

    130 makes sense unless Mikey decides to do that fight we should've seen ages ago. But if I could pick one and have sLomo fans shush for good is sLomo-Navarrete where sLomo would have the experience, skill AND size advantage, while Navarrete brings youth, intensity and energy.
