The real question is? How does someone that special walk away without leaving his mark? Floyd hasnt cleaned out any division and an eternity of excuses of why he shouldn't, wont, or only under certain conditions/circumstances.

History says that's not what the real legends have done. That's not how its SUPPOSED to be done.

Maybe Floyd is that special, but we'll never know unless he beats the best of his day and SHOWS US how great he truly is.

Personally Floyd is not a ATG, no matter what he says because he hasn't proven it in the ring. I'm a big Floyd fan but that is the truth. That being said he is the man at WW and I see nothing wrong with any boxer making enough money so that they do not end up like Micheal or Leon Spinx.

While I do want to see Floyd fight Miguel, Cotto is hardly cleaning up the division. He fought Zab, Shane, and Quintana, but what about Cintron, Margarito, Williams, Clottey, and Collazo. I know Cinton and MArgarito just fought each other and Williams is getting ready for Quintana, but that leaves Clottey and Collazo out there. He could have fought one or the other rather than ****ing Gomez if he was serious about cleaning out the division.

Then when he had a chance to call him out why didn't he. He had the world marveling at his great performance against a trash fighter, and all he had to do was call out Floyd and that would have driven the public demand up greatly. He didn't though and acted like it wasn't even on his mind, and that is crazy.

Also why is it ok to bash Floyd for fighting Baldomir, linear champ at the time and holder of 2 out of 3 of the major belts, but you don't want to call your own boy out for fighting ****ing Alfonso Gomez.

Because his last 3 fights were against top 10 fighters. Floyd did what he had to do against Baldomir. Fine. Since then the only real welter he has fought was Judah. People are sick of him being on his high horse and not fighting the best out there. Its been going on for awhile now. He's made a ton of money, now man up and show why most consider you the best by fighting the best. Is that to much to ask?

Why is it ok? Um because cotto didn't pay Antonio Margorito 750k in step aside money so that he could fight Gomez. He didn't duck a challenge the public was demanding to fight a no hoper. Floyd did.

Cotto didn't fight the best fighter out there , Clottey, so using the logic you guys love to use against Floyd, Cotto is ducking Clottey right?

Clotty has a manditory to fight Antonio Margarito. And besides the public wasn't demanding Cotto fight Clottey was he? Clottey wasn't demanding a fight with Cotto was he? Antonio Margarito was demanding a fight with Floyd. The public was demanding they fight. 8 mil was on the table. And Floyd fights Baldomir. The situation is a little different.

God you people are ******ed. Name me one challenger in boxing that is more deserving of a shot at the top guy in his division. Name me one guy who has done more to clean out his division without getting a shot at the top dog?

Cotto's fought nobody? **** that. Answer the question!
