Slowly GGG is becoming The Fighter of this Era, most talked fighter on media

GGG haters are his biggest fans. They make countless youtube videos about him, make threads about him, argue about him over boxing radio, GGG lives in their mind rent free. If you add up all of GGG's fans and his haters (who are his fans), he has the biggest fanbase in boxing today. The mainstream still doesn't really care for him though.

 

Kinda like GGGstans that create countless Saul Alvarez threads

Obviously because his fight just happened it will be skewed however overall GGG is the name most brought up on forums etc...I don't even think there is a close 2nd.

Ignore the simple fact that Canelo's resume is stacked because he always seeks and takes challenges, while your boy GGG always seems to have an excuse, and a couple times flat out ignore other potential fights against quality opposition..

Thing I dislike about Canelo is he doesn't even make an effort to talk with the fans... GGG was so bad at english he said his favourite country to travel to was boxing. But he didn't stop speaking it, and for that I respect him.
Canelo knows a lot more english than he lets on and he doesn't even bother to try and speak it...

 

o2 arena filled to the brim.... Say what you want the choice of opponent, but whether you like it or not he gained a lot publicity from this. Time for Jacobs, Saunders and Canelo to step up it the plate. Funny how his detractors refuse to acknowledge that these guys are flat out ducking him.

 

My beef with Canelo is that he LIED TO HIS FANS IN THE RING huffing and puffing his chest saying that he doesnt fugg around saying 160 no problemo asking GG to come there acting all hollywood
making everyone think this is gonna happen next
and when GG called his bluff and was taking 25% of purse

HE VACATED SAYING HES NOT READYYYY !!!! lol just a week later after that sharade in the ring

if thats not a reason to be angry at your favourite fighter than none is

if Canelo doesnt get GG in the ring before he retires nobody will forgive for that duck

I hope ur right and this fight happens in sep 2017 but I'm pessimistic

I dont think Oscar wants it as Canelo is his only cash cow plus
Canelito is young and has a long career ahead of him so he doenst really need that beating or money

If the PPV numbers for his next couple fights are really bad than maybe ODLH doesnt have a choice

Canelo haters never think Oscar wants to put Canelo against "blank" fighter... We heard it with Cotto even a couple years before the fight was made, we heard it with Lara, we heard it with Trout, and we are hearing it with GGG..

Unless GGG becomes an extremely skilled defensive, fast handed fighter in one year, I don't see how his slow punches, and lack of head movement will deal with Canelo's explosiveness, and excellent defense.

 

I dont see this fight so complicated like being a chess match

I think GG eats everything than Canelo has ( he s still coming from the lower weights a la Brook)
and vice-versa I dont think Canelito cant take the punishment and he cant run, hes not slick and he cant outmuscle Gennady so he s doomed IMO

people dont call out Andre Ward to fight GG for nothing , you know, being much bigger than Gennady he could maybe take those power shots
and being a slick master boxer can run efficiently enough from GG

but Canelo is none of that
