The general consensus in boxing is that the boxer has the edge over the slugger, & many examples of this has happened throughout boxing history. However, this is not always the case. Naming any fighters throughout history, which slugger would you confidently pick to beat a boxer.
No slugger beats every great boxer but prime Carlos Zarate had just enough boxer to add to his great slugging that he could beat almost any bantamweight boxer.
a pure boxer Fury, imo would get bombarded by one of the best heavyweight sluggers, Frazier, FOTC Frazier murders him. If his chin was a tag chin then I could give a nod to Fury but his chin is average at best and usually just had a lot of heart.
Good pick. Although, Fury might be a little too big & would lean his 260+ frame on Frazier's back whenever he comes in (which would tire him out & drain his energy). 50/50 on this one.
