Small: 'Rhodes is nothing but a stepping stone'

Agreed Jeff but I've meet Small twice and on both occasions he came over as a (well i won't say what.)

I meet Ryan once and he was a top bloke.

Maybe I just caught Small at bad times. I'm still behind Ryan though, he was one my heroes back in the day when I was struggling with speed ball dreaming of being a pro etc.

 

I think it via association although the adverts in the index and argos catalogues didn't help. Remember when he had a full head of blonde hair? How times change.

 

Yeah I def want Rhodes to win!

It's a hell of a night of boxing and the Echo Arena is very nice. There's a hotel just across the road from it as well.

 

I've also met Small a couple of times, once with Spencer F when they worked out of City Boxer gym and again both at York Hall when he beat Tak, and completely agree with Jeff, it would be wrong to judge a mans character when they are in front of the camera - this is when they are "in character" raising their profile and trying to sell tickets, off camera SMALL is a very humble and amiable guy, who was more than happy to have a chat and make time for a fan - I wish him all the best for this fight.

 

As I said I might have caught him at bad times, ie he's in a hurry or was pissed off over something else.

I'm not judging the man chances are if I meet him again he'd be sound. But I can only speak as I see.

i think small is being overlooked abit because he seems like a massive tool.
the pryce fight wasnt a one sided beating and i think the stoppage might have been a bit early if i remember right.
ill be rooting for him,he's funny.
