IMO smaller weight class fighters are usually more entertaining to watch. Specifically Light Flyweight up to Featherweights. Historically speaking those small weight classes have produced some amazing fighters over the years, although they usually don’t receive the same amount of attention as higher weight fighters.

If you were to choose 1 fighter from a lower weight class (105 to 126) that you would have wanted to be born as a naturally larger fighter and competed at a higher weight class (147 to 200+) who would it be? You can also pick a specific weight class and boxing era that you think they would do well in just for fun.

I personally would have liked to have seen either Chocolatito or Finito López at 147 and competing against the likes of Duran or SRL.

Seeing a Heavyweight Willie Pep would have been hilarious. He obviously wouldn't be as fast and elusive as he was in reality, but he was an incredibly smart and naturally talented fighter that understood the deeper nuances of Boxing.

Him fighting the Heavyweights would really showcase the insurmontable difference in class between a P4P all time great and your average ranked Heavyweight. I'm confident that a 6'1 200 lb Pep would clown everyone today aside from Usyk, who would put a decent showing but would still lose a pretty clear decision.

I'd say I'd like to see a featherweight Miguel Canto try and outbox Vicente Saldivar. That'd be a cool fight.

If you made Fighting Harada a 160lber he would never lose.

Ricardo Lopez first to come to mind. A friend of mine once said of him, “If you could make a 160lb version of the guy, he would beat any fighter today, in any weight class.”

And put him in that late 70's-early 80's era.

A 160 pound version of Fighting Harada against Sugar Ray Robinson, Marvin Hagler, Carlos Monzon, Dick Tiger, RJJ, Hopkins, Toney, McCallum, Jackson, Benn, Nunn, Kalambay. Oh my….

Not sure about unbeatable. He’ll most likely have some wins and some losses.

A 175 lb version of Jung Koo Chang against Victor Galindez, Matthew Saad Muhammad, Michael Spinks, Dwight Muhammad Qawi, Marvin Johnson, Eddie Mustafa Muhammad, Yaqui Lopez would be crazy.

Benitez would have been interesting as a heavyweight fighter.

Duran's skillset at HW would have been special.

Would've liked to see what a prime Naz looks like at MW.

A fun and interesting guy would be Aaron Pryor at say light heavy. Bouncing around, shooting (hard) shots from all angles, getting knocked down off balance and bouncing up to go to war … he’d be something.

I recall Gilberto Roman's promoter calling him the Sugar Ray Leonard of the Flyweights, even making a bold claim that if Roman had been a Middleweight he would have beaten SRL and Roberto Duran. As skilled and classy as Roman was it's hard to envision even a bigger version of Roman having any chance against those two.
