Wait, so now Bowe isn't a skilled fighter? And all of this coming through some proxy because some posters refuse to stop overrating Primo?

Bowe was extremely skilled, especially as an inside fighter, even more so because he was a heavyweight, a very large one at that, who could both box from range or move his head and create space on the inside like a bullying little lightweight.

Just because he wasn't Ray Robinson doesn't mean he wasn't immensely skilled.

It's funny, the idea of Primo being competent developed into this meme of sorts but no one will actually stick around and true to validate that Primo was an elite or top tier heavyweight anymore.

It's seemingly all crickets as of late, after the initial attempts at scrubbing the classic forums brains in an attempt to make them believe he wasn't a big protected oaf.

 

Iran was a huge dude, with a hell of a frame on him. Reminds me of James Toney in a way.
