Slipped by mind… I was thinking Fitzsimmons in a 10 fight series if he didn’t die but seriously good pick I’d wager Satterfield would be decent odds also.
Panama, I think, was lighter than Greb, but if Greb is in fact lighter then Greb. Point is those early 20th century medium sized guys who took on any sized guy. Langford's one but Im pretty sure he and Norfolk are bigger than Gans or Greb.
Maybe Marciano. I know a lot of people are saying Langford but aside from just his resume ( which is great ) I’ve never watched him in action.
Possibly Roy Jones Jr. before his heavyweight adventure, that eventually turned disastrous for him. Though with Patterson's above average hand speed and power, Jones Jr would literally be walking through a field of landmines with one misstep from going boom.
