    Usyk excluded of course

honestly i think Spinks does the trick, hot take but Frazier too

I think Dempsey would give him a very hard time also, not sure about schooling tho.

Ezzard Charles. Fury would have trouble finding him.

Probably Jimmy Carr. Fury has a motormouth on him, but Carr is a professional at humiliating people.

The original Tyson would slap Fury silly.

Ezzard's smother and clinch style at heavyweight would be a bit less effective against Fury tho imo.

Chris Byrd. Would have said Louis, but was already taken so I wanted to pick another one.

Byrd would frustrate the hell out of Fury.

Fury would be huffing after 4 rounds unable to land many clean punches other than pawing jabs and a few body shots. He would resort to mauling, shoving, holding and hitting by round 6 once he realizes he's down on the cards. An honest ref would deduct a point.

Fury tries dancing to create some distance doing his little southpaw attempt, but gets embarrassed by an actual south paw timing and countering him.

This leads to Fury attempting to use his Kronk style walking Byrd down with a higher guard and throwing heavy combinations. Byrd gets hurt, wobbled, and has a hard time controlling the pace. Fury manages to win some rounds through being busier and landing the heavier shots.

Fury would have looked awkward punching down at a shorter, slick, southpaw fighter and would have trouble with his hand speed and spoiling tactics. Fury doesn't have a particularly strong right hand lead to disrupt the southpaw's momentum, nor does he have a very good hook or the ability to cut off the ring when Byrd slips to Fury's left and around him. When the bell rings, it's not inconceivable Byrd takes a split decision.

Byrd loses, but makes Fury look very bad and clumsy, thereby satisfying the letter -- though not the spirit -- of the thread conditions.

Considering how Fres Oquendo fight looked - I think big chance that Byrd would find this match-up even more frustrating than Fury.

I'll go the easy route and pick young version of Muhammad Ali to outbox Fury with good use of angles and in and out movement.

Is Usyk excluded for not schooling and humiliating Fury? Both fights were close.

    Ali or Tyson.

Inoue and I'm being serious. Fury wouldn't be able to hit so low and moving a target so The Monster avoids getting hit while putting a Greb-like level of punches per round on Greedy Belly and wins a 10 round UD.
