    White boy?

I just see Floyd's ability to see and neutralize as having more to do with his athletic ability and size in combination with his Ring IQ than Marquez's does with his. I understand your points about Judah's athleticism, but I can't see that making him a harder fighter to figure out, considering his arsenal and movement is more challenging to adjust to. Mayweather seems to adjust round to round, whereas Marquez seems to me to be a better thinker on his feet. Being trained to see and counter and adjust is what Floyd is great at, for sure, but he's more skilled than he is creative IMO. Marquez and Hopkins have more dimension in the way they neutralize their opponent's punching angle, whereas Floyd has gone consecutive rounds eating straight punches backing up in a straight line or getting cornered unnecessarily.

Floyd obviously, he is consistent in avoiding the fights people want to see & he can get *****'s to believe that he can take out Duran, Armstrong, & Robinson in the same night with one hand tied behind his back. He is the king of mythical wins.

JMM is an underrated warrior who steps up to the plate constantly against the other best fighters of his era even if the judging never seems to go his way in his biggest fights & has taken the hard way, he has to learn from Floyd on how to be "smart" & be a "rich coward".

I think Juan is actually smarter, and has a higher ring IQ, but not by much. . . Floyd just has much better physical attributes to help him CARRY OUT his "intelligence" better reflexes, and is a "quicker thinker" - he can "read and react" on the fly better than Marquez. . .

Moreover, Marquez has more JUEVOS than Floyd, and is much more willing to counterpunch in combinations, stand strong in the pocket and fire back, etc.

Floyd. He is handling the higher weights better than Juan Manuel IMO

I still believe JMM sees a bigger picture. If he could, he'd make his moves a lot fancier and eye pleasing like Mayweather, but he knows he doesn't have the body for it.
On the other hand, you can't take anything from Floyd because, although he's had good trainers, he does not have a second big ass brain in his corner in Nacho Beristain.
Mayweather seems to train himself and has his people around for motivational reasons.
JMM has Nacho's insight which plays a huge roll in the ring.

I am a bit torn on this.

Honestly, when I evaluate the two I see FMJ as a guy who has extreme physical gifts, does a decent range of things exceedingly well and is able to win fights by keeping the fight on his terms.

When I look at JMM I see a guy who is what? Fast? No. Strong? No. Rangy (long arms for height)? No. Iron chinned? No. Show stopping power? Lightning reflexes? No. He is literally a "Die Hard" fighter. He is the B-Hop of lower weights with LESS physical talent! He is 100% a fundamental Boxer. If you have any real knowledge of Boxing, his punch selection is amazing. Jab? Body shots? What do you want?!?! He throws EVERYTHING well! INCLUDING lead uppercuts at range! If you have ever stood in front of another man you know that this is some serious ish to not only throw, but to land solid. If you gave JMM ANY one or combination of the tools FMJ has in his arsenal? Blazing speed? Longer arms? Lower body fat? Faster twitch? Height? I think JMM would be literally unstoppable.

With that said, I can't really say. FMJ is by far the better Boxer, but if a guy was to tell me to pick a guy who could TEACH Boxing later? I would lean toward JMM. He is a Boxer's Boxer.

I was watching Norwood/Marquez the other day, and it was funny to hear that it was on the undercard of Mayweather/Gerena on Boxing After Dark, only one weight class a part. Completely forgot about that card.
