    Vargas peaked early. It probably wasn't just the Tito fight - his weight problems, lifestyle !nd back injuries all took their toll - but he was well past his prime at the age most fighters are peaking.

    He managed to give Oscar a good fight but I thought the difference in Vargas pre and post-Tito was marked.
