Ironically it was his card or similar that I feared when the final bell went. Although by then I'd told myself that no-one could try and get away with something so far removed from reality.

Can't see how you can watch that fight and not give it Williams by a minimum of 3 points

That's pathetic. How in the world could a guy who does this for a living see Hurd winning that fight? Unbelievable. Rafael just DQd himself from serious boxing analysis.

He gave himself away when he said 'it could go either way'. It's the favourite line of those trying to legitimise a dodgy decision in the immediate aftermath.

I don’t follow Dan on social media and don’t read espn boxing’s articles much these days.

What are his other head scratchers?

How someone who is supposed to know what they are talking about can come to that score is beyond me.

    Exactly.

I hope he gets flooded with backlash over a card either blatantly corrupt or completely incompetent.

Either way, this should hopefully shred the last of whatever credibility he had.

Rafael is an obese stupid oaf who is poorly qualified for his job at ESPN. He's never stepped into a ring in his life.

Dustin Nichols vs. Dan Rafael, anyone?

The ring will collapse if this fight happens. There is chance that the whole Universe will collapse when Fat Dan's hits the canvas.

If he had been Julian Wilenque from France or Juri Willov from Russia, sadly that might have been how the official judges scored it too. With a group of fans defending those scores as well.

I often wonder how these guys get into the positions they do. Rafael and Kellerman are two real question marks. Sure, they both love the sport but are they really the most competent/qualified? I don't think so. How is an obese guy thought of an expert on sports? Or a little guy like Kellerman who probably never starred or excelled in any sport get selected? Puzzling. Don't get me wrong. You don't have to be an incredible athlete to call a sport but these two guys seem in line with how they select boxing judges. Very suspect.
